Bill Gates and his buddy conquered the entire world; Steve Jobs was kicked out of his own company and the story about the Big Blue computer. This is what we get to reflect upon while watching the Triumph of the Nerds documentary. I was personally very impressed by the devoted work Bill Gates & co. gave their passion – hacking computers. Thanks to mentioned Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, among others, the 21st century will probably be the era of the computers.
The documentary makes me think about what our generation’s computer boom is or will be. What is or will be considered the ultimate nerd occupation of our time in 30 years? I guess that we will have to wait patiently for 30 years or more in order to find the answer.

In my opinion Internet is the key of future. Of course that many machines will be invented, each time smaller and smaller. However, I think that be connected with the rest of the world is the most important field to develop. The future is going to be online, so first we have to create a good structure to be able to hold us. And with this I’m not only mean the technologically aspect, but also and most important the legal one, because today we still have a lot of legal vacuums that make impossible this develop.
Hello, very interesting this documentary. About your question, I think more and more will appear new technological devices with Internet conexion, but differents than computers. And may be the way to access to the red will change, and you won’t need write in a keyboard in order to interact with this devices.
I don’t think that something new spectacular as the computer will be invented, maybe updated. However they probably said the same thing before the computer was invented, so I guess I’m wrong. At the moment it feels like all good ideas already has been invented, but as I said, I know I’m wrong!
